HR Business Partner (m/f/d) – EIT Manufacturing

Part-time position (20 hours/week) at EIT Manufacturing Central in Darmstadt, Germany

About the position:

In the role of HR Business Partner, you will act as a solution-oriented sparrings partner for our managers and employees in the regional Darmstadt office on all HR-related topics. You will support strategic HR planning, succession planning and the recruitment of specialists and managers, including contract negotiations.

Key accountabilities:

• Advise and support our managers and employees in all relevant HR areas
• Derive HR policy measures on the basis of corporate objectives in close coordination with the managers of the areas supported and the global HR team
• Proactively support change processes for the further development of the company
• Implement HR tools and processes along the entire employee lifecycle and continuously review, optimise and develop them further

Qualifications and experience:

• Master’s Degree in HR or a similar higher education qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within an international company in the manufacturing sector
• Fluent in English and German. Other European languages are considered as a plus

Skills:

• Strong communication skills in German and English and a positive, winning manner with enthusiasm for HR work with diplomatic skills as well as a persuasive and assertive approach at all levels
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align HR initiatives with corporate goals, as well as consulting skills
• High level of resilience and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Solution-oriented way of working and pragmatic application of existing HR expertise
• Reliable and trusted teamworker

Location:

The role location will be at EIT Manufacturing Central, in Darmstadt, Germany with some travel required across Europe. A hybrid working arrangement may be considered depending on the candidate. Regular presence in the offices in Darmstadt is required.
